Welcome to OC Guitars – Where Learning Is Fun and Rewarding!
Hi, I’m David Alamo – a dedicated music instructor based in Orange County, CA, with over 15 years of experience helping students achieve their musical goals. I offer private one-on-one and group guitar lessons, as well as ukulele and bass lessons for students of all ages and skill levels in a supportive environment. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or an experienced player looking to improve, I provide personalized music instruction both in-person and online.
About Me
Upon earning my BA in Music from Cal State Fullerton, with an emphasis in classical guitar, I decided to embark on a career in music education. Over time, I have expanded my roster of students, developing a packed teaching schedule that I find immensely rewarding. I teach in the cities of La Habra, Brea, Whittier, Fullerton, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Tustin, Lakeforest, and Irvine. Teaching music to both children and adults has been a fulfilling and enjoyable journey.

My approach is simple: learning music should be fun, engaging, and built around your interests and goals. From rock and pop to classical and acoustic styles, I tailor each lesson to help you grow at your own pace.
Lessons for Kids
I believe that children learn best when they’re enjoying themselves. My kids’ music lessons focus on developing strong musical foundations while making learning fun and exciting. With age-appropriate instruction and hands-on learning, young students stay motivated and inspired.
Lessons for Adults
It’s never too late to learn. Whether you’re picking it up for the first time or returning after years away, my adult lessons are designed to fit your schedule and interests. I offer step-by-step guidance to help you build confidence and enjoy the music you love.
